Why everything on Present has to be real

The time was only half the problem.

When I looked at my feeds properly, the time I was spending was only half of it. The other half was how bad the content had got.

Even my mates were reposting slop. Clips from pages nobody knew, edited and recycled, and sometimes not even real.

So I built Present proof-first. Every photo and video is taken live in the app and sealed by the phone that took it. There's no way to upload, repost or bring anything in from somewhere else.

Every post has a receipt anyone can check, showing when it was captured, on what phone, and that nothing has changed since.

It means everything in your feed actually happened, to someone you know. That's a very different thing to scroll through, and it's why you don't need to scroll for long.
